FocusFriends is a joint venture of companies - with the same principles and similar or complementary focus - that explore, combine, and develop applications and services that help its customers and users to become more focused. This is achieved by creating innovative and easy to use (web) applications and value chains that help in getting clear guidance, managing priorities, gaining time and getting things done that need to be done.
The solution that is currently showcased is FeedCentral; a personalized content web service. On the backend, a clean and chronological index is created based on top blogs from the blogosphere. And on the frontend, a REST based web service is available to query the index. The blogs in the index are manually administered, to have full control on the quality and to add additional meta data to each blog (e.g. category, language, tags, etc) that can be used in the query.
